Part time florist admin assistant
We are seeking a highly organised and proactive Florist Admin Assistant to offer support to our small growing business.
You will play a key role in ensuring the smooth running of our events by managing administrative tasks and supporting the team in delivering exceptional service.
Your main responsibilities will include -

Diary Management: Efficiently manage the florist’s schedule, including appointments, meetings, and deadlines.

Scheduling: Coordinate and arrange events, deliveries, and consultations to ensure all commitments are met on time.

Booking Freelancers: Source and book freelance florists as required, ensuring adequate staffing for projects and events.

Enquiry Follow-Ups: Respond promptly and professionally to client enquiries via phone or email.

Proposal Preparation: work alongside the head florist to assist in creating and sending detailed proposals to clients, ensuring all requirements and preferences are clearly outlined.

General Administrative Support: Perform additional administrative tasks as needed, including maintaining records, updating client information, and assisting with invoicing and keeping track of expenses and budgeting.

Essential Skills and Requirements

Strong organisational, time-management skills and ability to multi task.

Excellent written and verbal communication abilities.

Proficiency in office software and Canva (e.g., Microsoft Office, Google workspace) - fluency in excel will be a bonus!

Professional and friendly demeanour, with a focus on customer service.
​

Prior experience in an administrative role, preferably within the floral or event industry, is desirable.
Working Hours and Location
This role will be for 10 hours per week.
Work will mostly be remote but there may be some days that you will need to come into the studio for meetings.
